FAQ's
- What is a waste consultant? We are experts in the field of waste and know all about handling waste, and more importantly, all the ways to save you money on your waste. We have the knowledge and industry experience to determine the optimum service levels for your locations. We are specialists who can interpret the “fine print” on hauler contracts to make sure there are no “hidden” rate increases or other unnecessary clauses. We work for you , NOT the haulers. All our actions are in your best interest and typically lead to substantial long-term reductions in your waste and recycle charges.
- What if we already have a contract with a hauler? No problem. Most of our clients are committed to a service contract when we start, and we can still work to lower your costs. In many instances our findings will encourage your hauler to re-negotiate an entirely new service contract with substantially lower rates and terms that better suits your organization. This is just one of the advantages for hiring a waste consultant.
- We have already “right-sized” and we think our costs are at rock bottom. Why should we still talk to a waste consultant? If you believe you already have the lowest rates available, you are actually in the best possible position. If you let us review your costs, and we cannot save you any money, we will shake hands and end our relationship... NO cost or obligation. But what if we can save you money? Wouldn’t you want to know? In this challenging economy, it’s more important than ever to keep every possible dollar.
- What if I don’t want to give up control over my hauler contract(s)? You won’t. We make recommendations directly to you, and you’re under no obligation to implement any of these recommendations. You remain in control at all times. Think of it as having a specialized, dedicated employee who has a degree in contract negotiations, problem-solving and business organization, whose sole job is to make educated recommendations regarding your trash. And, you only pay them a percentage of the generated savings. No base salary, no benefits! Sound too good to be true? That’s precisely what we do.
- Can you still provide assistance in areas that are serviced through the city or are franchised? Absolutely! Many right size audits produce an average savings of 10-15%. Even if service rates are set by the your city or county, we will perform a right size analysis and provide you with our savings proposal.
- Will you handle all trash related problems? Yes, you only need to make one phone call and we’ll take it from there until resolved.
